Benefits bajcanja

  • In bajcanju first we remove all impurities from the base material. The description of bajcanja
Any mechanical processing such as grinding, means the introduction of tension and impoverishment of chromium, and damages the upper layers of the material.
Heat treatment such as annealing or welding, causes discoloration. This not only affects the appearance, but also the corrosion resistance, because these lesions are composed predominantly of iron oxides that are chemically low resistant to outside influences. You cannot create a passive layer of chromium oxide. In these areas there is corrosion in the following typical forms of pitting ulcers, fissures (corrosive), intergranular corrosion and foreign matter. The surface layer is composed of FeO and is quickly removed by bajcanjem. Active mordant substances mainly consist of acid mixtures and operate in the upper layer of materials in the range 1-3 µm. Oxides such as ferrites and impurities are the first under the influence of acids and are first removed.

Bajcanje provides resistance to corrosion of stainless steel components and is particularly recommended for all stainless steel products, which are exposed to environmental influences. Corrosion resistance of stainless steel is improved because of new surface after bajcanju, which forms a waterproof and chemically resistant passive shield of chromium oxide, which protects the surface from corrosion.

Bajcane surfaces are metallically clean. Material obtained uniformly stabilized matte gray tint and becomes very strong resistance to corrosion.

Products are zincing, following a complex standard, depending on demand. After pasiviranju they can be electrically coated for improved corrosion resistance.

The alkaline zincing has certain advantages:

  • more uniform coating of zinc over the entire surface,
  • greater application of zinc (up to 35 microns), further treatment (passivation, coating) the same as an acidic zinc).
